In his capacity as Head of Recruiting at MassMutual Great Lakes, Gerald is poised to elevate and strategically position MMGL’s financial advisory practice for sustained success. He is dedicated to introducing impactful, emerging financial advisors to the firm. Prior to joining MMGL, Gerald honed his expertise over 8 years in recruitment leadership, where he successfully scaled and shaped diverse recruiting solutions for organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, he founded GDM Solutions LLC, a recruiting firm dedicated to empowering both organizations and candidates through comprehensive recruitment strategies.
Gerald is an alumnus of Notre Dame College in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was awarded a football scholarship. As a three-year starter on the defensive line, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, complemented by a minor in Coaching. His commitment to mentorship extended during his time in Cleveland, where he served on the coaching staff for both the varsity football and wrestling teams at Beachwood High School, guiding numerous student-athletes in their development.
In his personal life, Gerald is passionate about fitness, travel, and attending football games. He enjoys hiking with his fiancé, Courtney, and their Siberian husky, Koda. A self-proclaimed cider mill donut connoisseur, he takes pleasure in exploring local cider mills and indulging in their treats.
